Mission Statement
The Transportation and Parking Department is dedicated to ensuring city residents and guest have a safe, efficient, balanced and environmentally sound transportation system. The transportation division is responsible for the planning, management and operations of the city’s transportation system, which include vehicular, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit services to achieve an overall multi-modal vision for the City’s transportation future. The parking division is responsible for providing safe, effective, and efficient use of City parking resources. This mission is a combined effort of parking regulation enforcement, parking permits, parking meter maintenance, space allocation, and payment processing.
Notice: Per the St. Pete Beach Code of Ordinances 82-207, back in and pull through parking is illegal in metered parking spaces. The license plate must be clearly visible from the drive lane.
