As you may know, the City hosted a public meeting on May 24th, 2021 regarding the repaving options for Boca Ciega Dr. As discussed at the meeting, the city’s project to install a new sanitary sewer pipe under Boca Ciega Drive has been completed and the re-paving of Boca Ciega is being designed. The city was seeking input from the neighborhood regarding roadway safety improvements to the street to address concerns about speeding vehicles, pedestrian safety and Gulf Beach Elementary school traffic circulation.  

We are now 30% complete with the design phase of the project, and are once again seeking community input for the project. There will be a public meeting on 10/27 at 5:00pm in the Community Center Ball Room where the proposed design plans will be on display and open to public comment.
